Excerpt from August 10, 2006 article in the Marin Independent Journal regarding Horizon's Restaurant
(Excerpt from the Marin Independent Journal)
Horizons makes me think like this. It's been a fixture of the Sausalito's waterfront since 1898.
First it was a yacht club; it became the Trident restaurant in 1959 and lasted as a combination
restaurant, folk and jazz club until 1980. The Kingston Trio (which owned the place for years),
the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, Cal Tjader all played or partied at the Trident among
many other jazz, folk and rock greats

So is this like the HORIZONS thread where people can post PHOTOS and Memories beyond 1980? The name HORIZONS was suggested by Brad Flash to the owners.
